THROUGH A BEQUEST
More than half of all Americans who pass away each year do not have a will or estate plan. Without a plan, the legacy you leave behind could be one filled with unnecessary confusion and costs for your heirs. And without a plan, organizations and charities will be unable to receive any portion of your estate, no matter what your wishes may have been.
Through a will, you can provide for the future of NCJW/LA by naming it as a beneficiary of a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your residual estate. To make a bequest to NCJW/LA, include the following language in your will or living trust:
“I hereby give, devise, and bequeath (dollar amount, percentage of estate, or residuary) to the National Council of Jewish Women, Los Angeles Section, for its general purposes.”
THROUGH A LIFE INSURANCE GIFT
A charitable gift may be arranged by simply designating that all or a portion of the proceeds from your life insurance policy be paid to NCJW/LA.
NCJW/LA is recognized as an organization described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service code. Contributions to it are tax deductible to the full extent provided by the law. Tax ID # 95-1641433
