This Is Women's Hunger: A Conversation

Thursday, Aug 17, 2017

6:30pm – 8:30pm

Hunger is a specter in the lives of far too many Americans – especially women, who are 35% more likely to live in poverty than men.

MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger and the National Council of Jewish Women|Los Angeles invite you to join us for a powerful evening of art and advocacy to explore women's experiences of hunger, and what we can all do to help alleviate the crisis.

The program is co-sponsored by the Feminist Majority Foundation and will feature Abby Leibman, President and CEO of MAZON and Helen Davidov, President of NCJW|LA.

The This Is Hunger Exhibit will be open from:
6:00-7:00 pm
8:30-9:00 pm
for a streamlined version of the exhibit.

Note: exhibit available from 6pm until 9pm.  Feel free to arrive early and stay late to snack and schmooze.

Parking:  There will not be any parking in the NCJWLA parking lot for this event. However, the neighboring streets will have relaxed parking from:

Melrose ave. – Oakwood ave.

Edinburgh ave. – Genesee ave.

*meters are still active so PLEASE PAY FOR YOUR METERS!

These sessions will offer visitors the opportunity to participate in the complete 45 minute exhibit. Tours will be offered hourly and registration is required. RSVP here:
